Not Your Grandma’s Mattress: Check Out the Latest and Greatest in Sleep Technology

Get To Know The Latest Mattress Technology For A Great Night’s Sleep

We live in an ever-changing world driven by data that never sleeps. Modern technology has transformed the way we view our ideal sleep environment and enabled us to provide a better night’s rest. With all life’s demands, falling asleep is probably really easy. The problem is waking up feeling rested. If you ever find yourself tossing and turning, unsatisfied with the quality of sleep you’re getting from your current mattress, it might be time to upgrade. And don’t fret – there are much better options available today than the lumpy jalopy of a mattress you sleep on when you visit grandma. The latest and greatest in sleep technology products on the market today are designed to give you personalized comfort throughout the night, including hybrid mattresses, Atmos™ mattresses, and phase change materials.

Hybrid Mattresses: The Best of Both Worlds

It’s not every day that a mattress is crowned a consumer favorite. Hybrid mattresses can benefit almost anyone and receive consistently high ratings in mattress reviews. Whether you’re a side sleeper, back sleeper or tummy snoozer, these mattresses combine individually pocketed innersprings with memory foam layers on top to give you a 50/50 blended ratio of pressure-relief and responsive coils for a restful night’s sleep. If you think this mattress might be right for you, check out this blog post to learn more about what makes a hybrid mattress unique.

Atmos™ Beds: Program Your Ideal Sleep Temperature

Do you ever wish you could snap your fingers and create a current of cool air throughout your bed without the sound of a ceiling fan? Atmos™ mattresses allow you to create a personalized sleep temperature within your bed with a climate control system to match your ideal sleep environment. If your partner prefers a different temperature at night, you can program the settings independently for each side of the mattress to meet both of your unique preferences.

Phase Change Materials (PCMs): Mattresses That Adapt to Your Body Temperature

The idea of a bed that transforms to regulate your body temperature may seem futuristic, but that kind of sleep technology actually exists in the form of phase change materials. These materials absorb, store and release body heat, regulating your temperature throughout the night. While some mattress materials are cool to the touch, PCMs maintain a comfortable temperature.

So, now that you have more info on the latest and greatest options, here’s to no more waking up in the middle of the night wishing you could power down on a better mattress.

  1. If you have a mattress that is too warm then there is mattress pads with the PCM material to cool you down / cool your mattress. The Feel Cooler Cooling mattress pads.

  2. Has anyone actually experience with these phase change material mattresses? I’m considering to buy a kaymed therma phase, but am wary of marketing promises. Considering the cost, I want to make sure I won’t wake up soaked in sweat…
